‘The impact is profound’: Alliston equestrian program that connects with at-risk youth one of 4 groups to get Ontario Trillium Foundation funding

'The provincial agency that provides grants to not-for-profit organizations has ponied up for an Alliston-area equestrian program that uses horse riding to connect with at-risk youth.

Tuff Therapeutic Riding Foundation was one of four groups in Simcoe-Grey to recently receive funding under the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) resilient communities stream.

Grants awarded under the resilient communities program are intended to help community-based organizations recover and build capacity, resilience, and sustainability.'
